What to expect

Mike offers a mindfully relaxing, sensory-focused forest bathing experience that’ll soothe your being, deepen your connection with nature, and enrich your well-being.

All forest bathing sessions customarily end with a cup of tea as a practice. Completing a session together with tea is a way to share in our gratitude for, reciprocity with, and honor to the Earth.

Forest bathing sessions run for approximately 90 - 120 minutes but plan for 120 minutes (2 hours).

What to know

Forest bathing sessions involve standing, sitting, and mindful walking - up to 2 miles in total - out and back - on woodland trails. Walking is slow paced, gentle, and deliberate.

Forest bathing is a time to relax, slow down, be present, and quiet the mind.

While forest bathing is not a strenuous practice, participants should be prepared to walk along wooded trails with varying obstacles such as tree roots, rocks, branches, forest debris, etc.

There may also be some moderate elevation gain on the walks, but overall, forest bathing sessions occur on mostly flat terrain that is fairly easy to navigate, unless otherwise specified*.
